April 10, 2019

Bringing 10 years of leadership experience in the transformer distribution industry, Nancy John joined the Solomon team in February 2019 as the Director of Field Services.

“We’re expanding our field service team to all of our service centers, which will give us virtually full coverage from the Northeast, Midwest, and Southeast down to the Southwest in 2019-2020,” Nancy said. “Expansion sites in the Northwest and West will follow.”

These services will include installation, testing, oil processing, ded-gassing, maintenance, on-site painting, and DGA sampling. Substation switchgear, relays, breaker repair, and commissioning are also coming soon.

With the company’s plans for expansion over the next few years, Nancy has hit the ground running. “Solomon Corp is in the process of expanding its current footprint in the field service market, offering customers world-class services with turnkey solutions to their power distribution equipment needs,” Nancy said. The company has recently procured two state-of-the-art oil processing rigs; these units are equipped with dual pumps, which reduce the historical processing time by 50 percent, 30 GPM, and 1710 vacuum capacity.

As a seasoned professional with 30 years of industrial experience, Nancy’s expertise blends operations and business. She has led large project management, field service operations, and large customer critical care operations. She has also managed operations, IT, and HR departments in developing and growing business. She has controlled plant expenses, budgets, contract negotiations, multi-plant operations, process controls, and field service operations.

During her career, Nancy has worked with key accounts in the nuclear, oil and gas, mass transit, utility, renewable and industrial power distribution industries, as well as 20 years in the automotive distribution industry.

Nancy is passionate about the power industry and looks forward to putting her expertise to work for Solomon’s field service division. She resides in Texas and has a son, daughter, and four grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys her family, the arts (music and plays), going to baseball games, and being outdoors
